Terms of use

By creating an account you agree to what is on this page. It is short because the product is narrow: TradeFlux is a simulator, and nothing that happens inside it moves money.
What TradeFlux is
A practice terminal for replaying historical market data and recording the decisions you make against it. Every order, position, and balance in the product is simulated.
What TradeFlux is not
- Not a broker or exchange. No order you place here reaches a market. No account here holds funds.
- Not investment advice. Nothing in the product, including analytics, tags, and statistics derived from your own activity, is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
- Not a predictor. Results inside a replay are a record of how you traded a session that already happened. They do not establish how you or any strategy will perform on a session that has not.
Your account
Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your login. One person per account. Do not use the product to break the law, to attack the service, or to scrape the market data out of it.
Market data
Historical price data is licensed from a third-party market-data provider and provided for use inside the product only. It may be delayed, gapped, or revised, and it is not warranted to be accurate or complete. Redistributing it is not permitted.
Availability
The service is provided as it stands. It may be interrupted for maintenance, and features may change or be withdrawn. We do not guarantee uptime, and we are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make in a live market, whether or not you rehearsed them here.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from the settings page. We may close an account that is being used to abuse the service, and will say why.
